spider identification

my neighbor brought a spider on a stick which he had relocated twice before
bringing it for me to see. I have seen it before but know it. Coming to this web
site I ran accross a wall poster available at ART.COM and the spider in question
seems to be the one pctured exactly in the center of that poster. Up closer
it appears to be painted a white gloss enamel. I enlarged the picture but
couldn't read its ID. The neighbor relocated the spider again and I haven't been able to get a picture of it. This is near Atlanta,Ga.
